
Anne began her career in the hospitality industry working at the Millcroft Inn, starting at the front desk and eventually becoming sales manager. In 1988 when Bill Bennett was planning Langdon Hall, he asked Anne to join his pre-opening team as sales manager and she readily accepted the challenge. Anne¹s experience in the boutique hotel industry led her to the special events business, creating her own company, Every Last Detail, in 1994, focused on premium events and marketing services for business.
At the same time, her partner Rob entered the wine trade, and as it turned out, a nice merging of Anne & Rob¹s interests and experience. While Anne continues to maintain marketing and events clients; her time is increasingly consumed by the growing wine import business, The Vine. Combining years of finely honed people skills, and a keen eye for attention to detail Anne delivers the highest level of customer service to suppliers and clients alike.
From the beginning, the goal of The Vine has been to offer clients wines that speak to Rob and Anne. Working with predominantly small, family owned wineries, they try to share their experiences by translating the often intangible elements of the product and creating tangible connections to their suppliers and friends.
